Dyspraxia assessments and treatment for children aged 5 to 15 years.
I specialize in the assessment and treatment of children with Dyspraxia / Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), other coordination problems and handwriting difficulties.
My dyspraxia assessments are very comprehensive, include a full report and can assist in providing a diagnosis of Dyspraxia / Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD). I follow guidelines set out by the European Academy of Childhood Disability (EACD) and use standardised tools to assess against the DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD).
With experience in a wide range of therapeutic approaches, I help each individual child to develop the fundamental skills necessary to help them to thrive and learn. I am passionate about empowering children to reach their highest potential and I am proud to have created impactful change in the lives of hundreds of children and their families.

Dyspraxia Assessment
The Dyspraxia Assessment is suitable for children aged 5 years to 15 years and can assist in providing a diagnosis of Dyspraxia / Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD). The Dyspraxia Assessment is very comprehensive and includes a full report.
Dyspraxia Treatment
Dyspraxia Treatment sessions take place online and are available to all children worldwide, regardless of whether they had their Dyspraxia Assessment with me. Specific exercises and activities are used to improve the underlying causes of a child’s challenges.
Handwriting Therapy
Handwriting requires the integration of many component skills. I determine the nature of each individual child’s difficulties and the specific underlying reasons for those difficulties. I then develop a targeted treatment programme to address these.
Treatment Methods
I use a combination of the following treatment methods and physiotherapeutic techniques to treat children with Dyspraxia / Developmental Co-ordination Disorder (DCD):
The Lee Method
The proximal muscles are strengthened to provide the child with a ‘point of fixation’ from which to develop their motor skills.
Bal-A-Vis-X
A series of 300+ carefully modulated BALance, Auditory, VISion, eXercises of varied complexity which are steadily rhythmic.
Integration of Primitive Reflexes
Any existing partially retained primitive reflexes are actively inhibited by exercising the postural reflexes.
Dynamic Movement Skills™
Therapeutic Listening
A specific sound-based intervention that triggers the self-organizing capacities of the nervous system.
